At the start of CityVille you only have 2 choices, either carrots or strawberries to plant.
The decision you make here has to be based on how you play the game.
If you can sit online and play for a long time then strawberries are your best choice as they can be harvested around 8 minutes from once you’ve planted them.
But if you have to go offline to do something other than play CityVille, you should plant carrots which take 8 hours from planting to harvest.
